SideKick Diagnostics tests an iPhone or iPad part by part in a few minutes: the screen and touch, every button, the speakers and microphones, each camera and the flashlight, Face ID or Touch ID, the motion sensors and compass, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and charging.
On its own. Open the app and tap Quick check. One test per screen, with a drawing that shows what to do. Any test can be skipped. At the end you get a score for each part and a PDF report you can share. No account, and nothing is sent to us.
At a CellFix store. Our technicians connect the device to the store computer with a cable. The computer adds the serial number, battery health and lock status, and saves the check with your repair, trade-in or sale.
A test says skipped or permission not given: that test needs a permission you declined. Turn it on in Settings › SideKick Diagnostics, then run the test again from the test menu.
Face ID or Touch ID says it needs setting up: add a face or fingerprint in Settings › Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode), then tap Try again.
